    Hi!

    I’ve been testing your plugin and currently have campaign emails disabled, since I just want to be notified of abandoned carts to get a sense of the no. of abandoned carts on my site. I’m still thinking about my follow up strategy.

    Anyway, I have the Disable campaign emails for purchased products option enabled but that only seems to count for campaign emails.

    Till now, all completed purchases have been marked as abandoned by the plugin. And I received an email notification about an abandoned cart, right after each purchase was completed.

    Is it supposed to work like that? If so, then what’s the added value of the option?

    Hi @daanvandenbergh , we are taking a look into the matter.

    Normally, you should only be notified about the carts that were abandoned and when they were recovered.

    We will let you know our findings soon.

    Hi @daanvandenbergh , we tried to recreate this in our test environment but we can’t seem to find a similar issue.

    So can you help us out with the following information:
    – Your WordPress version
    – WooCommerce version
    – Cart Lift version
    – PHP version
    – Your Theme

    Once we get this information, we will try to recreate a similar environment and test it out.

    Hi!

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I’m still on WP 5.9.3, but am currently testing 6.0 on staging. Same issue there.
    I don’t use WooCommerce, but Easy Digital Downloads. Latest version.
    Cart Lift, latest version.
    PHP 8.0
    Astra theme + Pro add-on, both are at the latest version.

    We will replicate a similar environment and try to re-create the issue. Hopefully, this will give us the opportunity to find a fix.

    It’s definitely better now! I do not get emails for every purchase anymore now. However, now, people who attempted to pay but then bailed aren’t registered as abandoned.

    Carts are only registered as abandoned when they do not attempt to pay during checkout. Is there anything you can do about this?

    Hi, I believe you are talking about when people go to the Payment merchant section but then abandon it.

    This is something we need to look into. Once we have analyzed it, I will inform you of the possibilities.
