Dear friends, please help me, I’m really desperate. My website looks perfectly on Google Chrome, check it out:
    colegiocla.com

But on internet Explorer, you’ll seee this:
    “Page Not Found

We cannot locate the page you’re looking for. Please check the address and make sure all letters are lowercased with no spaces.”
This happens only with the main page, which was selected on the Settings – Reading, and is one of the many pages of my website. All the other pages look perfectly, except the main page I select on Settings – Reading, try some on Internet Explorer 11:
    https://www.colegiocla.com/?page_id=47
    https://www.colegiocla.com/?wpsc-product=pagos
    https://www.colegiocla.com/?page_id=88
The main page’s ID is # 124 (with no title), and it must be seen typing colegiocla.com on Internet Explorer.

This only happens on some computers, and it fixes when I turn add and then remove the site from compatibility mode list of websites.

    I alredy tried:
Making a child theme (it is one)
    Changing to pretty permalinks
    Debuging with Debug This
Addng Compatibility View MetaTags ass explained here:
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Meta_Tags_in_WordPress an in another post I just lost, I added this Meta Tag:

If I change in Setting the main page, the selected page is not viewable, only the rest of them. In Chrome there’s no problem.

Please help, the company’s goint broke if I don’t setup properly this sales page.

There was no mistake in installing WordPress or the setup, I’ve done this several times, it just happened please please help

  • Hi clamanagers! I’m not having any problems seeing it. When you say it’s not working on some computers, where have you tried? Are you on an internal network in an office or anything?

    Thank you for answering Kidcompassion,

I have 3 personal computers, it only happens with one of them (it’s the only website in which this happens; that computer can navigate perfectly in any other websites)

Yes, I’m in a LAN with no internet blocking configuration at all. Our LAN is only setup to share the internet and have access to our main computer.

    :S

Can you do two things for me? Can you take a screencap of the error you’re getting and post it somewhere so I can have a look? Also, just to be absolutely sure we’re working from a clean slate, can you clear your cache a few times? Even if you’ve done it already, I’ve totally gotten stuck with Internet Explorer before where it took two or three clears to actually get the site to show up accurately!

It’s not the tipical Page not Found 404 error page of Internet Explorer, this is the WordPress error page ?? WordPress has my page and says it can’t find it =O

Hmmm…you have a good mystery here! What operating system are you running IE11 on? Windows 8?

@clamanageers: this is not a WP error. According to your screenshot, that computer does not have network access.
See the red cross in the network icon in the bottom right.

Dear Kidcompassion, I misread the two thing I should do, I only did one and now I flushed the cache. But just out of curiosity I enabled and disabled compatibility view and I can see the websiste ok.. but when I do this, it only Works for 24 hours. I’ll wait 24 hours to see if tomorrow I can still see the website ok, if that’s the case that would be all Kid, if not I’ll be yelling for help tomorrew ??
By the way, I’m running IE11 on Windows 7

Dear lopwalj, in the description of the problem I specify that this only happens with the main page of my website. I do have internet and I can see all pages of the website except the main one. When I took the screenshot I had internet. My network Icon has an old problem displyaying correctly, but at this computer I have internet, I’m replying from it, and it’s where I had the problem. That page was not te generic IE11 page of when there’s no internet, actually it’s a page of my WordPress website that should appear when you click to see a page that maybe was deleted or something.

    Ah okay, i got it!
    Have you flushed your DNS?
    Do the following:

Go to cmd (in your PC) and type ipconfig /flushdns.
    Also, clear your browser’s cache.

Thank you so so much everyone. It’s been 24 hours and the website still looks fine. I’ll asume it’s been resolved, thank you
