I’m moving to Joomla…

Haha, I was looking at our Joomla test site yesterday, sitting here wondering if I should take more time to get to know it better…

Its no WP best of luck. Just disable it with Disable Gutenberg move on.

@wordpressdublin this will create a branch of the community. I do not want the template I bought to work only for this editor. This editor complicates the work, I do not know what problems it solves. You know?

Dont mention the fork, and all respect to them I cant see how it will be able to keep up with WP. Yoast is now part of the core too. Just accept this, its the new WP. So many other good things to focus on, I do hear you this has been a tough time for devs who build with WP, equally could be a lot worse ??

It is possible to laugh as much as necessary, but Joomla not that CMS over which it is possible to fall from laughter. On this CMS there are rather visited, known and dear sites.
I not fan Joomla, this CMS in many respects am not pleasant to me, but, but I have found some good paid alternatives WordPress. That now occurs with WordPress is inadmissible, from the point of view of freedom of any web master.

I am not going to be using Joomla right now, it was just a little LOL moment, having been looking at the demo sites on the web server that day, most of which are in WP, I was just looking at a Joomla site then notice the Joomla comment which made me chuckle a bit, that’s all.

I have too many sites in WP and most work fine with either no additional work or just a few tweaks.

For the new ones in the pipe, I am just going to disable the Gutenberg thing and activate the classic thing, for the time being at least. I will play with Gutenberg in the meantime.

Still not overly happy about it though, but hey, it may grow on me, in time.

If you want support for anything WordPress or want to help other people in the community with WordPress, please do so. This whole review section for Gutenberg does have some good feedback, both negative and positive.

But unhappy people are brigading here to use the reviews to vent in the form of a blog post and that’s not appropriate for a support forum.

If you wish to blog please do so. Just not on this site.
