How do I edit my post? I used an anchor tag and it made the rest of my post a link. I clicked Label Blocks and I’m seeing the red sections for the ads in the page (except the sidebar) but at the top I see:

    AFTER head (head)
    JAVASCRIPT ERRORS

I put the main Adsense code in a block and chose After HTML element and put in head for the element. What is the error and how do I fix it?

I’m seeing these errors in the console:

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=

Do I need to do something with Google Tag Manager?

I already read that. It was because I have an ad blocker extension. I had to uninstall it to see the ads. But now I am getting 2 ads in the sidebar.

Why don’t the short codes work? I added one and I didn’t see the ad in the sidebar. I searched for shortcode in the Widgets. I then deleted that and searched for Ad Inserter and was able to load it in my sidebar then. But now I have 2 in my sidebar. By clicking the button in the admin bar it shows THREE 3 code blocks in the sidebar: 2 that are red and 1 that is green. What’s going on there? Why do I have 2 ads in the sidebar?

Well, remote debugging is still not enabled.

We can’t check your website and plugin settings.

What do you mean remote debugging is not enabled? I have the Ad Inserter menu option in the Admin bar that when I hover over it has these options: Label Blocks, Show Positions, Show HTML Tags, Disable Insertion, and Log Processing. Is there something else I’m supposed to turn on?

Yes, you need to enable remote debugging – I can’t get any debugging info.
The admin bar is shown to you as an administrator.
We also need the same debugging functions in order to check your website and diagnose insertions.

Ok, I checked the Remote debugging checkbox on the Debugging tab after clicking the Gear icon. Do I need to disable WP Fastest Cache?

Not needed as I can get the debugging info now.

I see blocks 2 and 4 inserted on that page as configured.
And the ad codes display AdSense ads.

Settings for block 3 are not ok.
You are using automatic insertion After HTML element (not defined) and the block is inserted as a widget into the sidebar.

If you need insertion After HTML element then don’t use this block as a widget.
If you need the block as a widget then don’t set automatic insertion (leave it to Disabled).

Ok, that is news to me. I don’t care how it gets into the sidebar. Which do you think is the best or easiest to get an ad in the sidebar as the last element

    1. As a widget with insertion set to disabled, or
    2. Remove the sidebar widget and choose automatic insertion After HTML element? For that one, I was using the ID for the CF7 form.

I just tried the 1st one and it seems good and is now working – THANKS! Do you recommend one method over the other?

the best or easiest to get an ad in the sidebar as the last element

Drag Ad Inserter widget into the sidebar widget position – set Insertion to Disabled

    (@kernix)

Thanks, that’s what I did. I added ads to two sites but I removed the plugin from one site. I installed it on both sites yesterday, and I got the common errors from Google Search Console so I removed it from that site. It may be a coincidence because it was the same 3 errors that everyone always gets: links too close, text too small, and content wider than screen. Is there a setting to make sure that you don’t get errors from Google? I chose responsive ad for my Adsense ad units.

Hard to say, here we can mainly help you with the plugin settings.
I would suggest asking on some Google support forum.
