I’m site Admin and WP password reset email not working

  • I’m trying to reset my WordPress password but no email is arriving. Spam and filters checked but to no avail.

    The problem is that I am the admin, so not sure how I can get in to fix this

  • Kindly see the official support article below for various ways to reset your admin password. You’ll need access to your database or file system (FTP or web-based file manager):

    After you get in, you may want to troubleshoot why emails are not “arriving”. It’s possible they’re not being sent at all. See:

    Thanks George. Unfortunately I’m a non-technical Admin and have “inherited” ownership of WordPress. None of this made any sense to me when I originally read, was hoping for alternative solution.

    If there is no other way, then will speak to our CTO.
