I'm sure the pro plugin is great

For a simple bar on a simple, non-responsive website, this will do the trick. Unfortunately, it’s very non-responsive, down to the code used for the spacing at the top. Other expected features are absent, such as being able to hide it, hiding it for logged in users, etc…

The pro plugin probably addresses all of thees things.
