• On the Joomla cms side, there’s the JCE editor which is by far the best of the lot and is made for content creation. Over on the WordPress side, the editor has been a thorn in my sides because it’s just too limited while the Txt view (which really should be HTML view) has also been an annoyance due to lack of usability…so where am I going with this?

    Overall, and after trying out others, this WP Editor plugin is actually quite good. It doesn’t show the <p> or
    tags which it should, but I coupled the WP Editor with Preserved HTML Editor Markup Plus which now shows those hidden tags.

    @benjamin…you might want to do an update where those tags are shown.

    Another suggestion…install Joomla, then the JCE editor, and explore what that thing does and get some ideas from it. It’s also awesome that it does not change/touch my code (a huge pet peeve of mine with other editors, including the default WP one). I swear, anyone who creates an editor that is similar to the JCE one, would become the most popular developer of a content editor in the whole WordPress community!
