Image alignment issues and editor width

  • I have been trying to figure this out for a week or two now.

    Firstly the editor in posts and pages is pretty thin in comparison to say twentyninteen. What I mean is that the whole editor only displays in a small centred column rather than taking up the available space like twentynineteen does. How can we change this?

    Also, I am having trouble with images. Firstly images in posts and pages won’t align centre even if we set them to. Also if we set them to left or right align there seems to be no padding so text gets squished right against the image.
