• I notice that with WordPress, unlike my old ftp site with individual pages, for images, when I put alt image text into images, they do not show up on ‘individual pages” with wordpress themes, they all show up in code on one super long page called gallery. Hence, my question. many of the alt text images share some of the same words

Pre wordpress, this is not an issue, as they all get their own page name. But with wordpress it’s all lumped together on one large gallery page. Will Google consider the redundant word on this huge messy page spam?

Have you tried asking on Google’s forums? There’s no answer here that can accurately answer this.
