Hello, I am wanting to share my website posts on social media, but the under construction sign appears in the image for a couple menus when sharing its links to Facebook page. Even after disabling and deleting plug in, the image still appears on homepage menu and another page. I still have it installed and activated because the image doesn’t appear on other pages after clearing cache, but for some reason the image is still on some pages.

    Hi,
If the plugin has been disabled and cache cleared (on your end) then it’s just a matter of FB cache. Use https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ to see what’s going on.

I did put the link on Facebook tool and it didn’t help unless I’m doing something wrong. I can still see under construction when sharing homepage link to Facebook. Would you need website link to be sure?

UCP is not active on the site. I’ve refreshed Facebook cache so it now sees the normal content.

Thanks! That solved part of the problem. I still have the same issue with another link. Could you do this for one more link then I think the issue would be resolved.

Use the “Scrape Again” button on the FB debug tool.

Is there a way to not have to do the batch invalidator each time? For example, when I click each movie poster from the Movie and TV shows menu and share it to social media, it will require me to use this tool so the image and under construction tagline doesn’t appear when I post content on Facebook. This seems to do the trick for now, but I was wondering if there was a way for me not to do that each time I share a link? This is an example of the link I was talking about where a user can click a movie poster to read reviews. I would have to debug the review link each time. https://www.goodasnow.com/reviews/.

Unfortunately, we don’t control FB cache. If the article hasn’t been shared yet and is not under UCP when first shared then FB will show the “normal” version.
