• I’d like to use the 16:9 image aspect ratio for a featured image, but when I use it and check the image width and height on the frontend they aren’t in that ratio. This isn’t true for other ratios.

I have 16:9 selected in the block settings. On the frontend the image is 591 px * 394 px, i.e. 3:2. When I set the ratio to 4:3, for example, then the ratio of the image’s width and height on the frontend is correct. I can see the correct CSS is being applied when 16:9 is selected. I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/twentytwentyfour/ so the theme’s designers and support community can help you with this.

Hello, it seems to be the group block containing the figure element that is behind the aspect ratio issue.

If you set the parent group block to be a row (Arrange blocks horizontally) then Allow to wrap multiple lines and use Horizontal orientation, then the featured image should follow the 16:9 aspect ratio you have set.

    Group Block as Row

You might need to make sure the post title is also full width, if it’s too short. Hope this helps and good luck!
