Image Caching

  • Hi,

    Does WP cache images? I keep reading that it doesn’t but when I update any image, the media library shows the updated version but the front-end doesn’t. I have no cache plugins installed, have cleared all history and cache from 3 browsers but still images won’t update.

    The only way an updated image will show is for me to give it a slightly different file name.

    If there is no caching, how can I correct this?
