• When I add a caption to an image, it appears as left-centred large text when the post is previewed or published.
The caption looks how it is meant to in the post editor, however, it is not formatted when the post is previewed or published.
I just noticed this problem a few days ago. Before that, all the captions in my posts appeared fine.
I have tried changing themes and deactivating plugins to see if anything is causing this issue but nothing has worked so far.

In the screenshot, you can see how the caption is not formatted: https://ibb.co/QmWtFj0

I use Chrome, Windows 10 and the WordPress version 5.3

I checked your theme and figcaption, the HTML tag used for the captions, has no styling at all in your CSS. I checked with the original theme and there’s no styling either.

If it worked previously, something must have happened on your site between the BEFORE and AFTER: perhaps a WordPress/theme/plugin/hosting update? Including such critical information in support requests help you get a faster response ??

Anyway, since 5.3 came out recently, I’m guessing the change must coincide with the 5.3 upgrade.

I’ll therefore advice you report this in your theme’s dedicated support forum so that the developer can take care of this for all the 6,000+ users to benefit.
