Hi Support, would you like to advise whether I could disable all extra thumbnails size (by 3rd party plugin, such as Stop Generating Unnecessary Thumbnails) and just left the original uploaded image at my server, will Jetpack CDN able to auto regenerate the needed thumbnails such as woocommerce thumbnail 300 x 300 px, and the wordpress website run as normal for every image ? Thanks in advance!

    Hi @calvinyoo

Thank you so much for patiently waiting for a response! We have a backlog of support requests and work through them on a first-come, first-served basis.

I’m unfamiliar with the plugin you mentioned (“Stop Generating Unnecessary Thumbnails”). Our Site Accelerator works by dynamically replacing the URL for your product images with a CDN version. For example:

    https://i0.wp.com/www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce-placeholder.png?resize=300%2C300&ssl=1

The resize parameter automatically creates and loads a 300×300 image.

I’d recommend testing it on your site to see how it works. Before disabling any existing plugins and making changes, it is always a good idea to back up your site. If you don’t have a way to back up your site, I recommend checking out Jetpack VaultPress Backup.
