    When I load an image it says “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.” although the image is there, so when I post using an image I dont have the option of reducuing the size.

    I have disabled all plugins yet problem persisits, anyone any ideas.

    If it helps the files uploaded since yesterday have no dimensions, the previous files did

    Aha! So it’s the image uploading that’s the problem. That sounds like it might be a server security issue.

    I think it’s a distinct possibility. Can you try uploading an old image that has previously uploaded successfully and see if you get the same 0x0 images via FTP?

    and now I get

    have reloaded an old one, still no data, they appear in media file as miniture full size images not as a thumbnail as they did previously

    That confirms that this is either a server security issue or a problem with the server’s copy of the GD Library module. You definitely need to contact your hosts about it.
