Image descriptions in lightbox view don’t always display

I’m having a problem with getting the image description to show up on some images in the lightbox view.

I’m using the “Alt/Title” field for the image title and the “Redirect URL” field for the image description. But I have the redirect action disabled, so that whatever is in that should — and does, in a few cases — show up in the lightbox view as an image description on the page, rendered to the DIV class “bwg_image_description”, like so:

However, this is only working on the first few images in a gallery. On subsequent images, in which that “Redirect URL’ field does have a value, the description is empty. The DIV “bwg_image_description” renders to the page (in the source code), but is empty.

On the linked page, the first 8 images have image descriptions in the “Redirect URL” field, but on the first 2 display descriptions.

Can’t figure out why this is happening. Any ideas?
