Please try clearing your cache plugins, the one on your site as well, and your browser cache, and then check again if the issue persists. You could also use a different browser(s) to confirm it.

If trying that does not help, you could try a conflict test to determine if this is happening between WooCommerce and your theme or another plugin installed on your site.

You can do this by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, and then uploading an image and seeing if the issue persists. If that solves it, then re-enable all plugins one-by-one, until you find the one creating the conflict.

If you cannot perform a conflict test on your live site, we recommend creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

Thanks for your detailed reply.
I went through all the steps you listed, disabled the theme, and that wasn’t the problem. I deactivated all plugins and left woocommerce on and it wasn’t the problem, I cleared the cache but didn’t fix anything. I see very well the old images but the new ones I upload are not visible. What can be done? Thank you for your answer

I am afraid that it’s not related to WooCommerce, but with your WordPress installation/environment!

When you access a page that isn’t loading, usually, the browser will add a notice in the error console for debugging purposes.

In most cases, you would see this error in your browser’s error console when using the Inspect tool.

I’d also recommend checking out with your hosting company, to double-check your folders permissions and if they have a caching system on their side!

This is most likely a false positive, but you can reinstall WooCommerce to replace that file to be safe. I found a similar thread about that particular file – you can visit the thread here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/yara-sp_41_20190221_php_malware-in-index-js/

Hi,

the files were loaded within the path which appears to be incorrect, therefore the backend was unable to create the right previews.
the “upload path” record has been changed in the database, in the wp-options table, modifying the one previously indicated with the correct one.
Now the newly uploaded images will be correctly displayed.
