  • Easy solution could be:
    First follow this process

    Second:
    * Extract yourwebsite.zip on localhost or in its respective place (copy and replace if required)
    * Import yourdatabase.sql to localhost/phpmyadmin/
    * Now either change your blog address to localhost Or, make sure internet is on and your site is live (it will display images embedding from your online site)

    Check this for extra information

    Actually I am installing a fresh site so there is no database for backup or restore, further, I am trying that on localhost i am still not online on web.

    kindly advise further.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    not all themes are showing thumbnail images in the posts on the front page or in single posts;
    you might need to add the code to the respective theme files after you decided on a theme to work with: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Post_Thumbnails

    please describe in detail where you want the post thumbnail to show, and post the name of your theme – somebody might be able to make a suggestion.

    this problem consisting from start, so i don’t think this is the real reson, any how i will try it again one by one.

    in the twenty eleven theme, there is no thumbnail are available for post summery, but the images in posts are showing correcty

    quite confusing.. try clicking on ‘Use as featured image’ and then click on ‘save all changes’.

    i.e.
    go to >> edit post >> Add media >> select the existing one and click on Use as featured image or upload new image and try the same way.
