    Hi Hawkeeye,

    Hmmm, they seem to have the proper size styling applied.

    width: 100px;
    height: 100px;
    max-width: 150px;
    max-height: 150px;

    If I inspect the page and alter the height to match the actual image size it does enlarge in height (100×120) so it does seem that it is restraining to a square 100×100. Not sure what has changed to cause what you are seeing. Going to ponder on it a bit.

    I am not finding anything that would cause what you described. Anyone else having this type of issue in the community?

    Any new thoughts on what might be causing this? On my quotes plugin page the images appear to be fine. I tried deleting all references to the shortcode on the page and recreating them with no luck. I also created a new clean page with only a quote on it and still had the distortion.

    I noticed you have a 100×150 limit on the images and I will go back through all the images I am using to see if any are outside those boundaries, but I don’t think so.

    You should be able to have any size of image and the CSS rules are what resize it. Again, looking at the link provided it is restraining to a square 100×100. And when I alter the rules while inspecting the properties it adjusts accordingly so it does seem to be adhering to the 100×100.

    Is https://pillarsoftherepublic.com/ the “quotes plugin page” you are referring to? It seems to be working fine there

    Looking at this again I can find nothing out of the ordinary.

    I want to noodle around on this one some more and try to find the constraint. I can find no setting on my side from before and after the latest release that would cause the issue.

    But in the wonderful world of open source someone other than you can make a change and I might be using a plugin that seems unrelated and has some strange connection.

    I will check more and get back to you. Thanks for continuing to help.

    I am not quite sure what happened but the images suddenly went back to correctly proportioned. I assume it was a conflict with another plugin that got updated and removed the conflict.

    Thanks
