    If the image doesn’t display, I think it’s because of your theme.

    Some themes have special modifications for showing the featured image.

    Could you send me your site url?, I would like to review the HTML code.

    PD. If you try a standard theme in WordPress 4.9.x like Twenty Seventeen the plugin should work

    I have in the meantime installed the Nelio Content plugin to fix my problem
    but This plugin has a High space and features that I do not need
    I installed your plugin next to it
    Please find a solution so that I can use your lightweight plugin
