Image doesn't show when external link added to slide

Hi there,

As the topic title suggests, when I try to add an external link to a slide, the image doesn’t show up: https://www.ruckersvillegallery.com – it’s the fourth slide in the slideshow, after the woman holding the tea service. This only happens when I add an external link to the slideshow, which is a new thing we want to have on the site. Removing the link makes the image show up. Tried it in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

I think it worked correctly WITH the external link for about 24 hours, at which point I tried changing the auto speed, and then the image stopped showing up. I tried resetting the settings to default but that didn’t fix it, and I changed the settings back to what we had. So the auto speed might have been related but maybe not.

I’m a very inexperienced coder (someone else set the site up), so I had a developer friend look at it. He added the class="sorbit-link" in the Chrome Developer Console to get the image to show up, but we don’t know how to fix it permanently:
