• Hi
I have a problem with one image from a url not displaying within a page.
I have added this in an html block but just get the small image icon
I have pasted the same code here as below but inside a < > and the image displays on the forum here
img src=”https://www.broadwatersc.org.uk/bsc/camtest/Webcam.jpg” width=”640″ height=”480″ border=”1″

If you right click on the small image icon and select “open in new page” than it opens so the url must be correct

The page is https://broadwater.mycapps.co.uk/webcam/

thanks in advance for for any help
neil

• Hello,

Your site is ssl protected (https), so the browser will not show any non secure (http) object (image).

Hi Tom
Many thanks – that wasn’t even on my radar as a problem.
Although since posting on the forum I now can’t even view the page for some reason!
and am just getting!
Access to broadwater.mycapps.co.uk was denied
You don’t have authorisation to view this page.
HTTP ERROR 403
2 steps forward and one back!
thanks again
Neil

The image url works, but withous https only: https://broadwatersc.org.uk/bsc/camtest/Webcam.jpg ??

Hi Tom

thanks again – the http vs https actually fixed another problem I had.

I will find a work around now I know what the problem is with getting the webcam image.

I now know the 403 error is something to do with the page and slug name!
If called “Webcam” then it 403’s but rename to Test and it displays ok – bizzare!

cheers neil
