Image Galleries: select image by URL

  • I am looking for something that would allow me to add an image URL to a gallery.

    I run a weather forecasting website. Each day, when I forecast, an image is created which we will call forecast.jpg, making its url something like https://www.mysite.com/forecast.jpg. Each time I forecast, this file saves over the previous version to display the most recent forecast. This works just fine if I put the img in html, <ing src….>

    However, with a gallery, I can only select items I have uploaded with the uploader. I need a way to put the image URL into the gallery so it will update each time I forecast. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have already spent hours looking for a solution.
