  • How are you generating the gallery? If you are using the [gallery] shortcode then I believe the only two options that you have are to link to the ‘Post URL’ (users will be taken to your attachments page) or to the ‘File URL’ (users will see just the image and nothing else on the page.

    Yes I am using Gallery short code and yes I only have two options. The reason I use Gallery short code because I can randomize my images. I want my visitors to see random images when they enter my site. But I don’t want to redirect them to post or the source of the image. I want to redirect them to some other page of my site or external site. Can you suggest, what I can do ?

    1st: I want sort image randomly.
    2nd: I want to link visitors to pages rather than post or source image.

    You will need to customize the gallery shortcode function in the functions.php file of your theme.
