Image Gallery: Image Do Not Pop-Up When Clicked

    Recently, WordPress had requested me to have the platform updated to the latest version, V. 4.2.2. After it was successfully updated, the images that were displayed in the various Image Gallery, were not displaying as it was before.

    Before the update, the thumbnails that were displayed, when clicked, will have a simple pop-up that will display the full sized image with the description at the bottom. The pop-up will have a small ‘X’ at the top right hand of the box that will allow you to close the pop-up and continue browsing the Image Gallery.

    After the update, once the thumbnail is clicked, it will redirect to the actual page where the image is located. To continue browsing, user will have to click on the back button on the Web Browser.

    Appreciate any suggestion to help resolve this issue, to have it revert back to the original state that it was before the update.

  • If you using chrome, try inspect the error by using console.
    (right click the page > Inspect element > console. then refresh the page by letting the console opened)

    maybe the javascript is not loaded, or other errors.
    You can start from that.
