Image Gallery Ordering

  • Hello, In each of my galleries I have the settings for “Link To” set to “Attachment Page”, however when I click an image and then use the “Next” and “Previous” arrows to move back and forth through the images there are times where the image order does not correspond to the what I have created in the gallery i.e. I have ordered the images in the gallery chronologically but when I’m in the detailed view it will sometime jump to a different image that is not in order.

    As far as I can tell, when moving back and forth in detail view, the order is referencing the order in which I uploaded the images on the media page. Is there a way to ensure that the “next/previous” order matches how I have arranged the images in the gallery?

  • Hello, As far as I can see from what you gave, you take the next attachment id for your buttons. And Easy Image Gallery works otherwise.

    Each gallery is recorded in an array and this array contains the attachments ID-s as sorted in the metabox.
