Image In Thread, Not On Main Page

  • Hello, and thank you for trying to assist me. I am totally new to wordpress and it’s coding.

    I recently purchased a style and installed it. The demo had images in the posts on the main page of the blog, but when I installed it on my blog, the images do not show up on the main blog page, only when you click on the post in which the image is in. When you click on the post link and view the individual post, you see the image. I would like the image to be shown on the main blog page as well.

    I contacted support for the theme, and they said I needed to add “short code” to enable the image to be shown on the main page, but I have no idea how to do this. Can anyone advise me how to do this?
