    Hi!
I just updated WordPress and Jetpack plugin and all my images links are broken.
All links have now this prefix i2.wp.com. I tried to remove it by deactivating Photon but it’s still not working.
All images links on my website are not displaying anything. I can’t even see them in the media library.
I checked on the FTP that all images are there in their respective folders.
    Could you pleae help?
    Thanks.
    Quoc.

Hi Quoc, I looked around on the site, and the image URLs I’m seeing are not referencing Photon urls. This one for example, is missing http or https:

    style="background-image:url(//www.crocusss.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/slide-book.jpg)"

And, if I add https or http, it still doesn’t load up properly. If those URLs were not loading correctly when you enabled Photon, Photon would not have been able to see the images either, so they would load blank there.

Please confirm your media URL in your site settings to ensure they’ll load correctly. Thanks!

I had same issue, none of images displaying, then when I disabled Site Accelerator they start displaying again. So is this it now? I can no longer use the site accelerator, that’s the fix? Is there a workaround? Why doesn’t this work, it used to before latest WordPress update…

Here’s the original query I posted and how I got to where I am now.

    Hi @leticiagolubov,

I replied to a couple of your points in this thread but if you still need help with Site Accelerator, please start your own thread as per the Forum Welcome:

Hi supernovia, I tried both by activating and deactivating Jetpack or enable/disable site accelerator but I still don’t have my images. My site works well just before the update.
I tried also to deactivate all plugins but nothing happens. I don’t know if it’s because of Jetpack or WordPress new version that causes the problem, but the fact is no images are displaying on my website from the day I updated plugins and WordPress.

    Hi there,

I don’t know what caused this, but if you have a recent backup of your site before the WordPress update I recommend restoring and see if the issue is resolved.

    Hi!
Unfortunately, I don’t have any backups and my website isn’t still displaying any images. How can I deactivate my website?
    Thanks.

If you fully deactivate the Jetpack plugin, the images still don’t appear?

Are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache after deactivating Jetpack?

Note: You do not need to install a caching plugin at this point just to clear a cache you don’t have. If you don’t have a caching plugin or a way to clear a server-level cache, just say so. ??

I deleted Jetpack and the images still don’t appear. I don’t think I have any caching plugins.
In the section backups, I have this warning :

HTTP Loopback Connections are not enabled on this server. Add define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true); to your wp-config.php. If you need to contact your web host, tell them that when PHP tries to connect back to the site at the URL https://www.crocusss.net/xxx via curl (or other fallback connection method built into WordPress) that it gets the error cURL error 28: Resolving timed out after 4514 milliseconds. This means that WordPress’ built-in simulated cron system cannot function properly, breaking some WordPress features & subsequently some plugins. There may be a problem with the server configuration (eg local DNS problems, mod_security, etc) preventing connections from working properly.

Is that related to my problems?
    Thanks.

I don’t even see the images in the section Media when connected as admin.

Hm, ok so this isn’t related to Jetpack then, but we still may be able to point you in the right direction.

If you access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and navigate to /wp-content/uploads/ do you see the files there?

    Thread Starter quoctrungphan

    (@quoctrungphan)

Yes, I can access to the repertory /wp-content/uploads/xxx with FileZilla and I can see that all image files are there. It’s really weird. I don’t know why the server doesn’t recongnize the URL.

    (@macmanx)

Can you access one of those file URLs directly in your browser? If not, what error do you see?

    Thread Starter quoctrungphan

    (@quoctrungphan)

I can’t access directly to the image, I have a HttpStatus 404 (https://www.crocusss.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/logo-crocus.gif), but the image is here when I use FileZilla to browse it.

    Plugin Contributor James Huff

    (@macmanx)

Ok, I recommend speaking to you hosting provider’s support about this, as something is very much misconfigured with the site or your server.
