Hi there! We have a few tables on our site created in Tablepress, where we set up image links, copying the code examples created by SLB when adding through the WordPress image-adding tools; in other words, we manually configured the data-slb-* attributes so we could build a grid in TablePress. A while ago these stopped working. On my test page, you can see the middle example created using the WordPress “Add media” option works fine. The little TablePress snippet above doesn’t work, and I also just copied the code generated by the middle example to a raw HTLM block below, and it doesn’t work. Is there something I can add to my manual code to get it to work again? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, setting attributes used by SLB manually is not supported. They are for internal use only, which means that their implementation and usage may change at any time.

In fact, setting these attributes manually is nearly guaranteed to *prevent* SLB from working with those links, as the values will not align with their internal usage.

Links added to tables created with Tablepress should be supported by SLB automatically (no manual intervention required). Removing the manually-added attributes is recommended.

If you are still experiencing an issue after removing the manually-set attributes, please provide a link to an updated page and I would be glad to take another look.

Hi Archetyped – wow, that worked, thanks very much! I know there was some reason I set it up that way a couple years ago, but this is much easier. Maybe I was trying to set the groupid to be able to have multiple slideshow sets on the same page. I don’t know, don’t remember. This works, thanks again I really appreciate it!

Hi, glad to hear your issue was resolved.

For future reference, you can use SLB’s [slb_group] shortcode (documentation) to create as many separate slideshow groups as desired.
