Image links in NextGen Gallery

  • Is there a way in the Nextgen Gallery GI (i.e. without changing the .html directly)
    1) to disable a singlepic image from expanding to the full image? i.e. does nothing on click?
    2) to have a singlepic image link to a specified URL on click?

    any help is appreciated.

    Answer #2) there is a link=”https://…….” arg to the [singlepic ….]
    Partial Answer #1) tried link=”#” but the page jumps – I don’t like this solution

    Hope you solved it by now.
    If you did not here is how to solve #1

    Open singlepic.php in /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/view and remove the hyper link wrapping the img.
    In NGG 1.5.5 remove lines 43 and 47
