Image Loader not Working

  • Yesterday I had no problem loading images onto my blog. Today – the images will not upload to my post. I have deactivated plugins and set back to default them but am still getting the same issue.

    I am not a developer, I’m just a person who wants to write a blog and am frustrated at every turn. I have tried looking up the resolutions in this forum and am just at a loss as to what to do.

  • What happens? Does the timing bar show? Have you tried both uploaders?
    Any error message?

    There is no error message. The image Loader just goes blank after I click on Insert into Post. And the Image Loader box stays on the screen empty. I let it stay that way for over a half hour figuring maybe it was just slow…but I have tried several times. I tried using Flash version and Browser version and am getting the same reaction.

    I made sure that my Miscellaneous settings was set to wp-contents/uploads. And still it stays blank.

    I would reload wp-admin and wp-includes folders.

    Sounds like a problem I was having. My client’s IT guy eventually figured out that a Windows update (we think) had changed the permissions on the c:\windows\temp folder. I don’t know how to fix it myself, or I’d tell you, but that’s a start.

    I just started having the same problem today. It is very frustrating.
