Image Map Tampering

  • I have an image map of the USA’s different states. For some reason WP decides to wrap each AREA in it’s own MAP element each time I view the page in the visual editor, breaking the imagemap. Since other lest savvy people will be using this page, I want the visual editor to be useable on this page. I know there are plugins that disable formatting tweaks WP does outright, but what I want to know is if there’s one that lets you wrap content you want not to be tampered with with some sort of shortcode like [donottamper]content[/donottamper]. Does this exist?
