Image & Media not uploading after update to 4.2.3.

  • Hellow Forum,

    I updated WordPress to 4.2.3 and after the update the media is not uploading in all our pages.

    The media show our telephone numbers and since the update our calls have drop. Our web developer have not responded to our call.

    You anyone please help me.

    Josh,

    I changed the theme to 2015, deactivated all plugins and cleared my browser cache and no change.

    Okay, let me make sure I understand correctly.

    Can you please tell me the steps you are taking; to replicate the issue?

    Are we talking about the “media” button above the content editor when you are creating/editing a post or page?

    Just adding that I have the same issue with various websites. Have tried the solution suggested by Josh (change theme to 2015, deactivate plugins, clear cache), but no luck yet. Still can’t upload images on websites where the latest WordPress and latest Plugin versions are installed…

    I had the same problem, it was caused by my theme which used an “old” version (2 minor versions old) of jquery. Updated to the last version, the problem disapeared.

    Hi Josh! It doesn’t matter if I hit the media button above the content editor or click on the media option in the left sidebar. Either way when my library comes up I cannot see any of my files and when I try and add an image to a new post or as a featured image it does not show up. All that comes up is a box with the name of the file at the top.

    I have tried deactivating plug ins, tried a default theme, cleared my cache, reinstalled my theme, updated my theme all with no success.
    Please help!
