• after I changed the theme in my wordpress blog all past post with images alignleft are all messed up. The images are one on top of the other, and you can barely see the text. Now, when I make a new post I have to set the css for that image as “alignnone.” So how can I fix this. Is there any script to set all past’s post images to “alignnone” or is there a workaround to this?

    Thanks

  • You could do a search on the database to find all alignleft classes in your content and either remove it or update it to a different class. Obviously this would be changing the content outside of WordPress (by direct database manipulation) but it could be fairly efficient.

Or you could create a custom css class for your new theme that changes what alignleft does. Use a custom CSS plugin or a child theme for best results.
