Image metadata -very confused!

Hello,
I am setting up a photography site on wordpress for my portfolio. It’s really important when I upload images it retains exif and iptc data inc copyright info – even when WP resizes them. I’d also like to import keywords I’ve assigned in adobe lightroom to wordpress.

Can anyone help me? I’m going out of my mind reading forums and articles and trialling plugins not really knowing what I am doing.

I dont want to use a different gallery layout as I like my themes gallery so I’d like to use the wordpress media library where I can.

Any help would be great ??
