    One drawback of divi is you can’t set a picture in a box and control that bounding box. You have to either make pictures the exact proportions as you want them displayed, or you have to warp the image to make it fit.

    To get around this I use supreme image modules and set the image to the background.
    When I first started doing this I would get the alt text issue only within the divi builder (when I opened the page in another browser it would go away.)
    Now it’s happening both within and outside the builder.

    As you can see on the pages, in the newer modules I’ve added (screw conveyors and ubelt/tube belt conveyors) you can see the alt text displayed at the top left of the module images with a broken link icon. If you remove the alt text, the module continues to display it.
    Also I have divi set to hide all image text.
