Image next to post on Front Page

  • Hey guys, I’ve searched the forums and looked in the codex and I’m yet to find a solution to this problem, though hopefully it is something easy that I’ve overlooked.

    On the front page I’m trying to display an image and then an excerpt of a post next to it. Since the image relates directly to the contents of the post, there needs to be a new image for every post. Is there a way to upload the image when creating a post and have it appear next to the excerpt on the front page?

  • I’m looking for the same solution.
    Basically in WP 2.6 we have the ability to insert uploaded pics into the post. The front page should be coded so that it recognizes that this pic is in the post and display that pic on homepage.
