Image Nightmare

Please be patient with me i am trying to learn as i go along and i am sure the answer to the question is going to be very simple which i have overlooked… Basically every time i upload an image either within a product or product category the image does not load. Can anyone help or had similar issues?

Any help would be gratefully received.
