The image isn’t being added to the Schema on AMP pages for me. Any idea how to debug this? Here’s an AMP page where I would expect to see an image in the Schema: https://www.bradbrownmagic.com/2015/12/11/disclaimers-that-arent-in-bible/amp/

My theme wasn’t supporting Featured Images. I turned on Featured Image support. If I add a featured image it is used, but that happens with or without this plugin. I expected this plugin to make it work like the Yoast FB OG tag logic, where it uses a post image or falls back to the default image.

I have done a bit of customization to the appearance of the AMP page, but nothing that I would expect to impact this. I’m just adding some custom CSS and adding some HTML to the footer.

    Potentially relevant details:

    • I’m running multisite.
    • Yoast is network activated.
    • AMP plugin is only activated on one site.
    • YOAST is including an image in the OG tags of the non-AMP page.
    • I originally had Yoast Glue only active on the one site. I also tried network activating. No joy either way.

Since this wasn’t working for me, I gave up, uninstalled it and coded my own solution. I’m now using featured images in most posts, and have my own code in place to supply a default image in the schema when a featured image isn’t available.

I totally understand that this is a brand new plugin designed to interface with another rapidly changing beta plugin, so problems are to be expected.

If I can be of assistance by providing any more information that would help debug the plugin, then let me know. Otherwise, I’m all set.

We are getting error emails from Google about AMP pages not meeting the requirements, and it’s due to missing image in every case so far.

I thought we had a default image specified in Yoast but I can’t seem to figure out where this was admin’d…
