Image not adding to post automatically

    I’m having an issue where the images aren’t automatically going into my posts anymore. I just get the green check and it says “image succesfully downloaded to media library”

    Hi @hgsouth That’s strange. I’m not sure what would be causing this… are the images going into the Media Library?

    I have the same issue with both the Classic and the visual editor (no Gutenberg). All media is correctly downloaded to the media library, but not immediately inserted into the post editor. We have to switch to the Media Library to finally insert the image into the editor.

    @djr Instant Images for the classic editor does not insert the image right away. It’s a manual thing where you have to click the Insert into Post button after the upload completes.

    Unfortunately I don’t see such option. I have made a quick screen capture. It’s just downloading the image, shows the green check mark and then nothing.
