image not loading

I’m modifying the default wordpress theme in 2.5 but I’m running into a weird problem and I can’t find anything about it in the forum.

The link in the upper right should be an image, but now it only displays the alt text. The image is shown perfectly when I look at it directly ( https://www.galeriezoetbrood.nl/close.jpg ), so it’s definitely there, and I’m linking to it directly, so why doesn’t it show?

I’ve never seen anything like it… Is there maybe some new and hard to find setting in version 2.5 that prevents the image from loading?
