Image not sharp and “jump’

    Hi there,

    First of all let me say that I think I will absolutely love this plugin! ??

    (Ive checked on the metrics and they are mindblowing already, amazing job!!)

    I do bump into a few minor issues tho:

    1) if you go to my shop page images seem to wiggle/jump of just a split second there.
    2) On the shop page Images seem not to be very sharp after loading when the plugin is enabled
    3) on single product page image seems not sharp after loading on mobile

    1+2+3 = especially noticeable on mobile but also noticeable on desktop.

    I would appreciate it if you could take a look and assist ??

    I managed to solve the CLS, so that’s no longer an issue ??

    I appreciate it if you can check why on mobile the images are a little blurry in the shop and on the single product page? If you click on the image and it opens full screen its a lot sharper even tho the viewports are the same on mobile because the image is already full screen.

    On both mobile and on desktop on the shop page the images “wiggle/Jump” a little after loading (this is not the case with plugin disabled.

    These are minor issues, I love your plugin. Thank you and keep up the good work!

    Regarding the issue, I’m trying to replicate it, however, doesn’t seem to be happening on my end.

    This is an example product page with Optimole disabled:

    I tried to replicate behavior with a desktop view by narrowing the screen to the size of the mobile device and tried it with an emulator and I think I get the same view.

    What is the mobile device and browser that you’re using when you see this problem?

    Thank you for having a look, I appreciate it!

    The issue still occurs on my end (all cached cleared etc.)

    Images wiggle on desktop Chrome and on mobile chrome. On mobile devies and chrome the images are a little unsharp.

    I have a Samsung A20, but I also see it in Chrome when narrowing the screen to a mobile device.

    It is minor tho! but you can see the difference once you click on the image and it opens in a new screen, then its sharp as its supposed to be.

    (I can send you screen shots if you can provide me with an email address ??

    I managed to solve the “wiggling” of the shop items today. This was caused by an Astra pro module. It is now gone.

    I need to see if the unclear image is only here. It does not appear to happen in firefox.

    Very strange I need to get back to you regarding this.

    Hi Vytis,

    I hope you are doing well!

    I have tried several different mobile phones in the meanwhile. But I still have issues with the images not being sharp. Both On the shop catalogue and on the single product page. (everywhere else images are crystal clear and sharp).

    You could try for yourself by visiting my shop with a mobile phone and click on any product.
    The featured image is a bit blurry, but when you click on it and it opens “full screen” the image is sharp. It’s strange because full screen image and the featured image are (or should be) the same size on mobile phone. (this only happens on a physical phone, not in chrome dev tools with mobile viewport).

    Also every now and then, the images in the slider are blurred randomly, but if I refrsj the page its sharp. Could this be a loading issue?. It is not consistent but happens often. I do have a screenshot.

    I would appreciate it if you could check ??

    Hi Jessica,

    Can you try to add inside the exclude lazy-load filters by class this: data-large_image ?

    Let me know if this solves the issue for you, it should exclude these images from lazy-load while allowing for others to still be lazy-loaded.

    Hi Vytis,

    That did work.
    But I want to keep the “Optimole” magic going ?? That’s lost when excluding these images.

    I really love that plugin. Hoped there would be a fix with maybe CSS or something.
