    Hi,
    The file created by WP retina 2X is too heavy ( 774Kb) compare to the original image (294Kb). it takes too long to load. i would like to know how i can control the size of the file generated by WP retina 2x.

    Ah, I see. In the plugin settings you can change the JPG Quality. For advanced optimization the plugin cannot do it, is it quite a complex operation and depends on people and many settings. There is a plugin that does it very well and I recommend it to you: EWWW Image Optimizer.
