Image optimization and Scenario of source image missing

  • Hi,

    I wanted to know that
    1. what happens when the source image which is displayed on my site is removed. Like if my featured image is displaying through URL of some image at some other site and if that image is deleted on original site, what happens at my site

    2. what parts of Image optimization does this plugin do – It would not reduce image size then how about title,alt text, catipn and description. is there a light plugin I can use to do that. you description suggests Jetpack, but jetpack is primarly for security and other big purposes.

    Thanks a lot…really appreciate your prompt feedback. actually your site just says Jetpack, that why I got to wrong jetpack one.

    1. The image i am displaying through URL, does it show in google searrch ? if it does then when some user click on it, where would google redirect that user, to source URL or to my site?

    2. I set “copy the post title to FIFU alt/title field ” in the plugin under featured image tab, but it still showing the alt text and title of the image as blank, plz suggest the solution.

    If you don’t click on update button, the plugin doesn’t know you want to copy the post title to the alt/field. So the FIFU alt/title field should continue empty.
