Image order 3.9.1 – help.

  • I am a wedding photographer and was happily using wordpress to upload my galleries of between 500-700 images to deliver to my couples a nice-looking, password protected gallery of all there images.

    But then I upgraded to 3.9 (i think that was when it was) and then the uploader completely changed, in general I like it, but one over-arching problem has stopped me using the galleries all together, and that is

      how do i reorder the uploaded images by name order???

    I have searched the forums and can only find the answer of reordering manually which isnt an option for this many images… if anybody knows a plugin or a workaround I would love to hear it as it is truly a huge pain in the arse for me.

  • Image ordering in the default gallery is now by drag ‘n’ drop in WordPress 3.9. Since you are uploading so many images to a gallery, I strongly recommend that you look for a suitable gallery plugin that will allow you have password protected albums with multiple image re-ordering options.

    Is it possible to type to the right of a picture the top, not from the bottom. I would like to insert a picture and then to the right of the picture type text about the picture.
