    Hello.

I’m trying out your slider, Version 1.8.2. I’m using WordPress Version 5.8 in this web site: https://aliceinreferendumland.com/

No matter what I do, I cannot manually re-order the images using drag and drop.

I have 11 images so far. I installed them in the order I wanted, first to last and hit save.

The plugin then flipped them into the opposite order. Drag and drop has no effect in re-ordering the images back to where I want them.

BTW, this is not my first try. I had already installed the images, and was looking for a way to delete just one of them. The only “delete” button seemed to be at the top. So I clicked the radial button beside the image I wanted to remove and hit delete. It deleted the whole slider! Without a warning beforehand. Suggestion: add a warning, i.e. “Are you sure you want to delete the slider?”

Anyway, I would appreciate advice on how to put the image order back the way I want it without having to delete the slider all the time and start over.

    Thanks for your time.

  • I’m experiencing similar issues, although I was warned in a short tutorial my web developer did for me, about there being 2 delete buttons. One is at the top of the images (which is used to delete an image), the other on the upper right which deletes the entire slider.

I had a website developer recently install Slider by Supsystic on my website. He put it there to replace a plugin that was being used on my home page that no longer worked when WordPress upgraded me to 5.9.3. Although I noted on the details of Slider by Supsystic not being tested beyond 5.8.4, it seemed to be working fine. That is, until I tried to rearrange the images. Every time I added a new image and moved it to any other position but the last position, and saved the change, I received a message that it took. But when I would look at the preview and look at my website, that image was back at the very last position. The website developer also tested it and said he found the same thing. I’ve noticed others saying they have had this issue with the plugin and image rearranging. The process I used, was to put a check in the box next to the image, click and drag it to the position I wanted, then click save at the upper right.

I like the ease of use of this slider since I’m not familiar with coding, etc. (which is why I hired the web developer to solve my home page issue), but it would be fantastic is the click and drag feature worked.

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide to make it work correctly.

    Regards,
    Ole

I followed up on my website a couple of times to see if there has been any fix so I can change the order of photos on my front page of my website. I have seen no change. I can still click on a photo, drag it to a new position, and see a message that the order has changed. I’ve made sure also to click save (even tried it without clicking it). But the photo reverts to the very last photo so no change is made. Any further ideas?

Hi. Thanks for answering. I’ve also contacted you through your internal support form as requested.

My site is online now, although still in development:
    https://aliceinreferendumland.com/
I’m using your plugin in the sidebar. You’ll notice the cat shows up in the sidebar. If you click on the last dot, that’s the evil old Queen. She’s supposed to be first, but it never happens.
    Thanks for your time.`

    Hi,

I wanted to know if you had some solutions to make this work since I am experiencing the same problems.

    Greetings,

    Diogo

I’ve checked a couple of times, including just now, and although it allows me to click and drag and save to a new position, it still does not hold the new position. All I can do at best, is add a new photo but it always puts it at the end. I’ve paid someone who is a web developer, familiar with this slider and WordPress and he can’t make it work either. It’s just not my website because it wasn’t working for him on his website either. Frustrating.

    Hi, Diogo.

Ole support did contact me. He invited me to allow him to login to my site so he could try to fix it. I didn’t know how to do that at the time, creating a separate temporary login. I’ve been a bit too busy to figure it out, but he sounds very helpful, if you can let him in. You have to make a new support request at his own web site, he gives the link above.

It’s a really nice looking slider. I hope I can get it fixed one day the way I prefer to have the images ordered.
