image permalinks 404, file url working

  • I’m having issues with my image permalinks. For images that are assigned to a post, the permalinks don’t work, but their file urls work fine. All of the images show up in the posts as well. It only happens to images attached to posts. Images attached to any other taxonomy work fine.

    The only way to get everything to work that I’ve found is to use the default permalinks setting, which I don’t want to use.

    Any idea what could be causing this and/or how to fix it?
