    Hi,

Some weeks ago I noticed that my images get re-optimized. It makes the quality absolutely horrible.

Here are the following image plugins I have installed on my website:

    • Flying Images
    • WP Rocket
    • ShortPixel Image Optimizer

So, when I went ahead and tested a bit, it turns out that the issue is solved when I disable the CDN image delivery provided by Flying Images.

My question is – how do I take advantage of a CDN delivery alongside ShortPixel?

Could you please take a look at my website and provide some solutions?

    Thanks in advance!

@registriran Your images are compressed twice, once using ShortPixel and again using Statically CDN (from Flying Images).

You can set quality to 100 to prevent compression via Statically.

    Hi Gijo,

This does help and the quality did improve!

For the record: The “Compress images on the fly” option was never enabled before that.

To fix the issue I enabled it and set it to 100%. So I guess there’s still a “default” compression from the CDN, even if the option to compress images on the fly is NOT enabled. ??

    Interesting.

@registriran yes, I guess Statically has some compression by default.
