• Hello,

Firstly thanks for the help previously! I’m using this plugin on multiple sites and its great so far!

But, at present the optimised images have a different filename than the original. Can they not just have the existing filename? (It was the case that in one site I had to relink every image as it had renamed all the files). It’s a potential issue now as the site I’m working on has files liked via the css code which I may not have access to.

    Thanks
    Declan

Sorry also… I’ve discovered it’s changed the file path?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Before it was all saved in /wp-content/images/ ect. Now its straight on the domain????????? Why has it done that?

Now I know what caused the disaster on one client website where I used this plugin.

The website has light box setup that shows larger version of the image when someone clicks an image.

This plugin must have changed either the path or file name for all images on the website. Now upon clicking an image the light box shows broken image link placeholder.

The plugin description should have a warning that it changes file names.
