Hi the image replace tool is now showing. In the past I could click on an image inside of my event editor and I would see an option to “Replace” image. But now that’s not showing. I am worried it could be becuase of Event Espresso because their code is always bad. Can someone please help me be able to still use this plugin with wordpress and event espresso and divi theme?

    Thank you, phloo.

Could you please elaborate on what exactly you are expecting to see? The plugin does not have any admin menu, but rather these links on the Media Library: https://i.imgur.com/vwgOHtf.png

Can you please check if you see them too?

    phloo

    (@phloo)

Well, I use the plugin for many years. This is the first time its not showing up in the media overview and media detail view.
As if it isnt really registered.

    phloo,

    Could you please:

    1. send us a screenshot of what you see in the Media Library when you hover over an item? Similar to this: https://i.imgur.com/vwgOHtf.png
    2. send us a screenshot of what you see when clicking on a media item? Something like this: https://i.imgur.com/ZKuSnkz.png
    3. deactivate all plugins except Enable Media Replace and tell us if the issue gets fixed?

    Thank you,

    phloo

On the live website, its also not showing up.

    Hi phloo,

Maybe try to uninstall and re-install the plugin? Sometimes this fixes the issue.

Or maybe try to install a previous version of the plugin. Does it work then?

These are always the fist things:
    – deactivating > reactivating > Check
    – deactivating > uninstall > reinstall > activating > Check

Sorry but thats not real support, just newbie questions and I switched successfully to another replace plugin. Works without a problem on local dev and live production site.

    Plugin Support Gerard Blanco

    (@sixaxis)

    Hi phloo,

We have been working with WordPress for many, many years. As you can imagine, we have seen all kinds of issues, and yours is the first case where the plugin simply stopped working the way it did after an update.

To be honest, I am not sure what you expect by “real support”. We were just trying to understand what happened so you could use the plugin again, and replied to you in less than 48 hours in a thread you did not start. And this for a free plugin. That’s “real support” in our eyes.

As I am sure you can understand, it’s quite disheartening and insulting to have your work labeled as “newbie questions” while we do everything we can to diagnose your problem without having access to your site. And I am even more surprised that you say this, a web developer with 20 years of experience who should know that this is standard procedure.

If you have a better way to help us help you with your particular problem, we are all ears.

Either way, good luck with the alternative you found!
